IMT Brings Next-Generation Lifting Solutions and Series 5 Crane Lineup to CONEXPO 2026

March 3, 2026

LAS VEGAS, NV (March 3, 2026) Iowa Mold Tooling Co., Inc. (IMT), an Oshkosh Corporation business (NYSE:OSK), is showcasing its latest lifting solutions for the construction industry at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, March 3–7 in Las Vegas. Highlighting a commitment to fleet efficiency and operator performance, IMT will feature models from its recently launched Series 5 telescopic crane line on Dominator® mechanics trucks in booth #N12324 in the North Hall.

This year’s display highlights the continued evolution of IMT’s product portfolio, specifically featuring the powerful Series 5 telescopic crane line. Launched last year, the Series 5 crane family is engineered to meet the distinct operational requirements of fleet managers and operators, prioritizing weight optimization, length and simplified maintenance.

“Reliable service equipment is essential for maintaining productivity on construction sites,” said Amy Brownlee, Vice President and General Manager of IMT. “We are excited to show our customers at CONEXPO how the Series 5 lineup can meet that demand. We engineered this family of cranes to deliver outstanding length and lifting capacity without compromising the durability IMT is known for. By prioritizing component commonality and serviceability, we’re helping fleet managers keep their trucks out of the shop and on the job.”

Visitors to the IMT booth will get a firsthand look at how these cranes integrate with IMT’s rugged service trucks, with featured units including:

IMT will also feature an IMT 50/345 articulating crane mounted on a Western Star 47X equipped with an Odyne Hybrid System. Designed to promote productivity in complex material handling applications, this crane offers an impressive lift-to-weight ratio and maximum horizontal reach of 70′ 4″. The unit features hexagonal booms for outstanding control and a dual power link arm system, while the 15-degree overbending on the outer boom and 360-degree continuous rotation ensures exceptional maneuverability in tight spaces. For enhanced job site sustainability, the truck is equipped with an Odyne plug-in hybrid system featuring a 35.4 kWh battery, enabling stationary mode operation to help control emissions and fuel consumption.

Engineered for Optimized Performance and Efficiency

To meet the rigorous demands of modern construction environments, the Series 5 crane family balances precision with rugged durability. Spanning 16 distinct models with capacities ranging from 3,300 to 12,600 pounds and lengths ranging from 18 to 32 feet, the lineup is engineered for versatility. By utilizing high-strength steel, IMT has achieved significant weight reduction* without sacrificing strength, allowing operators to maximize payload capacity and operational efficiency on the job site.

Performance and length are central to the new crane design. The cranes feature IMT’s Penta Boom geometry, which ensures exceptional lifting capacity in critical working zones, while the increased length compared to previous generations provides access to challenging work areas, enhancing the crane’s versatility. To ensure reliability, every model undergoes rigorous validation   including fatigue, stability and cold-weather testing and carries industry-standard J-1063 certification.

Beyond lifting power, the Series 5 lineup prioritizes the operator and fleet manager experience. All models feature fully hydraulic extensions for smooth, easy operation. Furthermore, IMT has streamlined maintenance through component commonality. Shared designs for valve banks, boom geometry and radio remotes across the lineup can help manage parts inventory and simplify serviceability for fleets.
