The Series 5 5300-23 crane represents the next generation of lifting, featuring a 5,300-pound capacity and 23-foot length. When paired with the lightweight yet rugged DSC30 Dominator mechanics truck, it offers a premier solution engineered to provide excellent versatility and payload capacity for medium-duty service truck applications.

“Bringing the DSC30 Dominator mechanics truck to Indianapolis allows us to show exactly how we’re solving the weight and payload challenges our customers face every day,” said Amy Brownlee, Vice President and General Manager of IMT. “We’ve leveraged high-strength materials and smart engineering to create a body that is rugged enough to support our new Series 5 5300-23 crane while remaining light enough to handle an impressive payload. We are excited for the industry to see how this combination can promote efficient maintenance and performance in the field.”

Optimized Payload: New DSC30 Dominator Mechanics Truck

The DSC30 Dominator mechanism truck is the latest evolution of IMT’s industry-leading Dominator service body line. Utilizing an innovative inverted A-frame design, the DSC30 provides exceptional structural support for crane operations while maintaining an optimized footprint that leaves plenty of room for tools and equipment. The body comes standard with the IMT CMD.CTRL™ system, a wireless remote solution that gives operators full control over the crane, stabilizers and lighting from a safe distance, promoting job site visibility and efficiency.

Next-Generation Lifting: Series 5 5300-23 Telescopic Crane

As a key product in the Series 5 family, the 5300-23 telescopic crane offers a powerful balance of length and lifting capacity. Featuring IMT’s signature Penta Boom™ geometry, the 5300-23 provides exceptional strength and stability in critical working zones, allowing for precise material handling even at full extension. The Series 5 line is built with high-strength steel to manage overall weight and shares common components across the family, helping streamline maintenance and parts inventory.

Reliable Power: CAS40PL Air Compressor

The DSC30 unit on display features the CAS40PL air compressor, a reciprocating hydraulic unit designed to perform consistently without adding unnecessary weight to the vehicle. This compressor utilizes an aluminum reciprocating airend to deliver 40 cfm @ 100 psi while remaining exceptionally durable. Equipped with an integral hydraulic oil cooler and an available cold weather package, the CAS40PL ensures reliable pneumatic power across a wide variety of environmental conditions.
